Who can submit art?

ANYONE between the ages of 16 - 24 in the United States.

What type of art do you accept?

We welcome a wide range of 2D and 3D artwork. However, we ask that you avoid submitting pieces that are extremely heavy, fragile, or unsafe to handle (such as broken glass). We do not accept jewelry, clothing, or crafts. Artwork is displayed in local businesses and at all-ages events. While we support bold and thought-provoking work, we aim to ensure that all pieces are appropriate for their setting and audience—for example, we do not display overly graphic, disturbing, or violent imagery that could be triggering without context or nuanced discussion.

How does this work?

If some / all of your pieces of art are accepted, you will be emailed a form where you will fill out details including the prices, names, measurements, and prices of each piece of your artwork. If you are in the Pittsburgh region, you can arrange to drop off your art. If you do not live in Pittsburgh, you are welcome to ship us your art.

Offroute will display your work in our shows, displays, and/or pop ups. When one of your pieces sells, you will receive you payment via paypal within 48 hours.

If your art is selected, will will be in touch with a form for you to fill out in order to submit details about your art including titles, measurements, materials used, and prices. You are then responsible for dropping off your art to us.
