Eunoia is a collection of professional works by Alexa Rivero. Psychology often plays a part in her exploration of human fragility. She creates 2D and 3D art, often using herself as the narrative anchor. Her work explores themes of vulnerability, opposition, and reflection; made not only to look but to feel.

Original work by Pittsburgh's next generation of artists. Offroute Off the Walls features work exclusively by emerging local artists ages 18–25, spanning painting, ceramics, mixed media, and more. Everything on view is for sale, straight off the wall, at prices that support young artists building their practices.
DON'T LOOK AT ME by Mahogany Martin
OCTOBER 23 - NOVEMBER 1
Please join Mahogany Martin as she exhibits her first-ever solo show at Ketchup City Creative. Don’t Look at Me features graphite and digital works that explore self awareness, familial trauma, and maturity. Mahogany invites you to share this space with pieces of her most vulnerable work for you to see, not just look.
Her two forthcoming workshops, “Shadows: Drawing What You See, Not What You Know” and "Roll for Creativity," are deep dives into how she uses value to inform decisions in her artwork and finding the balance between drawing from reference vs. imagination.

October 12 | Make It Monday: Repair Café
Repair Café Pittsburgh is a monthly event series where people bring broken items to a team of repair experts, and work to fix them together. Community-led and free to attend, the Repair Café is open to everyone. Stop by either with an item to repair or to learn more about their work and how to volunteer with them if you're handy! RSVP not required.
October 13 | Group Art Critique w/ Lelaina Scott
Join us in a safe space to share your work, connect with other artists, and grow as an artist. Each artist will get 10 minutes: 5 minutes to present physical or digital work, followed by 5 minutes of feedback from the group. Come prepared with a question or direction you'd like input on. Each artist can set the tone and pace of feedback that feels right for them.
Space is limited to 8 participants. We’ll open a waitlist if there is great interest. Free and open to all—come make peers, get feedback, and talk shop in a safe, supportive setting. We'll provide hot tea. The critique will be led by artist Lelaina Scott. RSVP here.
October 20 | Trade Tuesday w/ J Rich
Trade prints, stickers, & trinkets with other Offroute artists (and friends!). You can also swap paintings through our community building exercise!
This is a workshop activity built around togetherness and the idea of creating something with one another. Artists will start a painting then after a set amount of time, hand it over to another artist to work on while you work on someone else's! This helps us start answering the question, how can we build a shared space and what does that space look like? Led by artist J Rich. RSVP here.

October 28 | The Uneasy World of Edward Gorey Talk by Becky Carpenter
"Some tiny creature, mad with wrath, is coming nearer on the path."
A sense of dread, a shiver down the spine, a macabre curiosity. This is what happens to most when they read the tales of Edward Gorey. Join former university professor and Osher lecturer Becky Carpenter for a journey into the life, the art, and the peculiar universe this famous writer and illustrator created.
We'll investigate why doomed children, tragic accidents, ambulatory urns, and uninvited creatures at the door don't give us pause—we just turn the page for more. After all, as Gorey himself explained, his mission in life was "to make everybody as uneasy as possible." RSVP here.

ABOUT THE RESIDENCY:
Offroute Art, a nonprofit supporting Pittsburgh's emerging artists ages 18–25, is taking over Ketchup City Creative's Sharpsburg gallery from September 1 through December 31, 2026. The four-month residency pairs Offroute's mission of championing young local talent with KCC's history of opening its space to the community.
The residency will feature solo and group exhibitions by emerging artists, each paired with public programming and workshops. Artists will lead their own classes and meetups, keeping the space peer-driven and accessible. It will also serve as home base for Offroute's Fall 2026 Fellowship, run in partnership with The Midwife Center and focused on building communities of care.
The program responds to a common concern among young artists: losing access to studio space, equipment, and community after leaving school, and finding the professional art world costly and hard to break into. The residency is designed to meet that need with peer-led skill-sharing, inviting Sharpsburg and greater Pittsburgh to take part.
KCC is located at 612 Main Street in Sharpsburg and is operated by Artspiration.
