ACCESS: A Group Show

Libraries are one of the last free, unconditional sources of connection — a place to exist without an expected transaction. That access is under strain, as book bans and politicization destabilize libraries nationwide. For young adults 18–25, a library card can mean wifi to job hunt, a quiet place to think, or a space or simply a space to exist without an expected transaction. 

It's also one of the few places left where you sit alongside strangers and neighbors as part of a shared reality. It's often young adults who feel that access— and that social fabric— erode first. 

This is what Offroute Art's emerging artists were asked to respond to, under one theme: ACCESS.
