Photographer - we are looking for someone in the NYC / New Haven / Pittsburgh regions to take high quality photographs of art that is for sale on our website. Whether you can commit to a few hours or a few sessions, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Development - Do you have experience researching grants? We are looking for folks to help us with the search! If you have some prior experience with grant research and 20- 40 hours of time you can devote, please let us know!
Artist engagement - we are always looking for ways to connect with young artists. If you are in high school, college, or work with individuals 16 - 24 and can promote Offroute to them, that is always and important and ongoing ask.
Artists - We are looking for artists who are interested in giving back to the next generation. Starting out making art, if you aren't at an art school or aren't surrounded by artists, can be isolating, particularly in this disconnected time. Offroute is offering two ways for more established artists / makers / arts educators / etc. to reach out in efficient, but impactful ways.
Offroute's Ask Us Anything Panel: Monthly, we will be hosting 2-3 artists to participate in a 60-minute facilitated Q+A session with young artists who are able to ask you anything as long as its art-related! You can share you advice, wisdom, stories, and connect with younger folks in a meaningful way.
Offroute Art Critique: If you aren't in art school or know other artists, it's hard to get useful feedback on you art. Thus, we are creating an opportunity for young artists to submit 1-5 pieces of art, share some information on what type of guidance they are looking for, and Offroute will find an artist to write a 2-4 paragraphs critique of the work(s) within 7 days. Offroute will never directly connect the two parties, rather, we work as an in-between and never share personal information with either side to ensure safety and privacy.
If you are interested in getting involved or would like more information about any of these volunteer opportunities, please email email@example.com. Offroute encourages likeminded, mission-oriented individuals to join our work! We are an inclusive and intentional community for individuals of all races, creeds, ancestries, marital statuses, genders, sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, ages, physical disabilities, veteran’s statuses, political service or affiliations, colors, religions, and/or national origins.
