ABOUT OFFROUTE TRIVIA During the doldrums of April 2020, Kjerstin Pugh and Kimmy Rehak combined some of their favorite things-- music, research, the '80s-- and created Offroute Trivia Night, a free game for all to play. The game has evolved since then and they now host a monthly trivia night on the second Saturday of each month. We also host trivia nights for other organizations to help them bring their community together for a fun night! TRIVIA, THE OFFROUTE WAY:
Every game is free and open to everyone. There is music, 4 rounds of trivia, and prizes for the three teams that score the most points.
Team size: 1 - 6 people

Event registration ends one hour before the game.
The game is divided into 4 rounds. There is a visual round, music round, and two trivia rounds.
We use Zoom to facilitate the game. You do not have to have a zoom account to play, but we recommend you log on a little early to make sure you have access.
At the beginning of the game, we go over the rules and game set up.
Prior to each round, Kjerstin shares a link in the chat to the round's questions. One team members will fill out and submit. This is on a google forms page, so in addition to Zoom, you will use your internet browser as well. Because of this, we strongly recommend using a computer or larger tablet.
If you are on a team with others who are NOT located in the same physical space as you, your team may opt-in to use a “breakout room.” This will allow you and your team members to go in and out of a private zoom room during each round to discuss answers and talk to one another. If you would like a breakout room, all team members must be logged on by 7:30p.m. EST and you all must change your “display name” to your team name. This way we can go in and assign rooms at the very start.
